Enabling Kami AI tools

Who can use this?

We recommend reviewing any AI-generated content in Kami to ensure it is accurate, appropriate, and matches your unique teaching style.

 

What are Kami AI tools?

From auto-generated questions and feedback on student assignments to a suite of AI-powered Understand tools, Kami AI tools help teachers save time and support student learning.

We believe that using AI should be a stress-free option to keep you and your students safe and secure. That's why Kami offers you total control over our AI tools: choose if and when you'd like to use them, and configure which tools your learners have access to.

 

How to enable AI tools

1. Select the Account and Settings button (located in the top right of your Kami window with your initials) to open the drop-down menu, then select Settings.

2. In the Settings window, open the AI + Beta Features tab. Under the AI Features section, locate the toggle to the right of AI Opted-in and set it to On.

3. After enabling, you will be prompted to review our Privacy Statement. Please carefully review this to ensure you're fully informed. Once you're finished, select Enable AI.
