Class View

View and grade all assessments in one place to track progress and give effective feedback.

Who can use this?

👤 Class View is available for Teachers.

👤 Requires a Kami paid plan.

For the best experience with Class View, we recommend installing the Kami Extension in your Chrome or Edge browser.

 

What is Class View?

Kami Class View centralizes student work. Provide multi-format feedback, utilize grading tools alongside the LMS gradebook, and return assignments with a click.
 
Class View is currently supported on all our LMS integrations: Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology, and Microsoft Teams.
 
You can also find real-time analytics of your students' assignments in Class View. For more information, explore the Insights Dashboard.

Our LMS (Learning Management System) integrations allow you to load any Kami assignment into Class View. Below is our list of supported LMS and the Class View features available to them:

How to load your assignments in Class View

Class View functions similarly across our supported LMSs but has key differences depending on the platform. Here are some instructions to get you started:

 

 

 

 

 

Class View on the Kami Dashboard

In addition to your LMS, you can also find and open assignments in Class View directly from your Kami Dashboard.

If you can't see your assignments here, this could be caused by a few reasons:

  • The file you're trying to load may not have been created with Kami.

  • You may not be the Primary Teacher for the assignment, which is preventing Kami from loading it in your dashboard. 

Otherwise, try reloading your Kami Dashboard to confirm if this resolves the issue. If the desired file still does not appear, reach out to our Support Team for further assistance.

Answer View

If you used the Questions tool to create an assessment, head to the Grading view to easily review student answers to your questions. The Answers button is located just below the file name at the top left of your Class View window.
