What is the Insights Dashboard?

The Insights Dashboard allows teachers to gauge understanding in real-time and provide targeted feedback to support students in any learning environment.

  • Embed a variety of question types (multiple-choice, short answer, etc.) into Kami documents for instant knowledge checks. Auto-grading speeds up the process, freeing you for deeper analysis.
  • Kami’s Insights quickly reveals which questions trip up the class so that you can address misconceptions, then modify the resource and republish for clarified learning.

How to find the Insights Dashboard

The Insights Dashboard can be found inside Class View, simply by opening the assignment you want to view and selecting the Insights button in the top Navigation bar.

Student Performance tab

Once opened, scores and insights will automatically start calculating for the selected assignment.

  1. Class Average - This is your assignment average score, and it takes that number from scores awarded through Kami Class View.

  2. Score Distribution - This takes all the scores awarded through Kami Class View and puts them in a visual graph.

  3. Performance - This section gives insights into the top scorers, median scores, and lowest scorers in the assignment.

Assignment Analysis

This utilizes data from the Kami Questions feature. Each question title will appear on the left, along with the question type, its value, and how many students completed it and answered it correctly.
